Location and opening hours
The libraries are open to students from the master’s level and above and to undergraduate students on the recommendation of a teacher.
Loan conditions
→ In Nancy : 20 books for a maximum of 3 months for permanent students and 10 books for 2 months for non-permanent students and PhD students.
→ In Metz : unlimited number of loans for 2 months for all, renewable 2 times
Remote document Delivery : You can’t find a document or you want to consult it remotely. We can carry out document searches for you and send you the document by e-mail. Please send your document requests by e-mail to the generic address : iecl-math-bibliotheque@univ-lorraine.fr
The library
Located in Nancy and Metz on the two sites of the laboratory, the library offers a complete range of materials adapted to the needs of researchers in mathematics. It has specialized collections in the field of pure and applied mathematics. More than 300 journals (current and dead subscriptions) and 9000 books are available in free access.
The Nancy site has specialized journals, books and archives. This site also has an old collection, including the Delsarte collection from the middle of the 20th century, which can be consulted on site. The IECL has a research library in Metz, located in the laboratory.
Associated with the Direction de la Documentation et de l’Edition of the University of Lorraine, the IECL library is also part of the Réseau National des Bibliothèques de Mathématiques (RNBM).
The library acquires about 50 books per year. The Nancy and Metz sites offer a comfortable working space to consult documents and work in peace.
