The succesful candidate will join the probability and statistics team of IECL, and work within the LOUCCOUM project, funded by the French Research Agency (ANR). They are expected to work in collaboration with project members. The list of members and a short description of the project are available at this URL https://anr-louccoum-anr-louccoum.apps.math.cnrs.fr/ In short, the aim of the project is to advance the state of the art on non-uniform models, or uniform models under constraints, of random combinatorial structures, such as permutations, trees, graphs, …

The canditate should hold a PhD, and have some research experience on topics related in a wide sense to discrete random structures. Speaking French is not necessary.
